In order for energy sector to become more sustainable and efficient, we need young innovators—those who want to create new solutions, aren't afraid to share their opinions, and share our values.
We want more young people from STEM fields to find their way to us, from IT students to engineers. To achieve this, we invest in projects that spark, deepen, and maintain young people's interest in STEM subjects.
Enefit scholarships
The energy sector faces significant challenges. If you want to contribute to developing new solutions during your studies and gain knowledge about how we progress on the green journey, take the opportunity to apply for a scholarship!
We offer scholarships for:
- Vocational education: €750;
- Applied higher education and bachelor’s studies: €2,000;
- Master’s studies: €3,000;
- Doctoral studies: €5,000.
Scholarship recipients are offered the opportunity to:
Receive professional internships and mentorship from experts in the field.
Potentially find career opportunities within the group.
Choose a thesis topic and supervisor based on Enefit’s activities.
Participate in our summer program, Energy Step, which will involve you in our exciting group activities.
Take part in various training and development programs.
Shadow an expert. Our people work in engineering, IT, sales, analytics, and support roles.

The Talented Youth Energy Fund helps acquire knowledge
If you are a young person aged 7-19 from Ida-Viru County, you have the opportunity to apply for financial support to develop your knowledge in science and technology, participate in Olympiads, competitions, and contests, or further develop your interests. The application can be submitted by the youth themselves, their parent, or a representative.
The next application round for the Talented Youth Energy Fund was open 07.10.2024-05.11.2024.
Educational and exciting field trips
We organize field trips to our group’s production facilities to enrich energy education, such as the Iru power plant, Narva and Paldiski wind parks, Narva power plants, oil industry, and the Narva quarry.
We welcome students from STEM classes aged 16 and older for these tours. Interested instructors are asked to submit a request (doc) to [email protected].

We contribute to the development of top talent in the energy sector
- We invite students to our production sites and organize open house days to showcase the day-to-day work and roles in energy, through the experience of our field experts.
- Our people give guest lectures at schools, sharing professional knowledge and their personal stories with students.
- We contribute to the opening, designing, and developing of curricula. Enefit specialists participate in the creation of learning materials.
- We offer interested individuals the chance to shadow our employees to gain a better understanding of the profession or an exciting field.
