Eesti Energia is a Voluntary Central Purchasing Body
Eesti Energia has been designated as a voluntary central purchasing body by a decree of the Estonian government.
Central purchasing is a mechanism where the central purchasing body conducts a large-scale central public procurement. As a result, all other entities subject to public procurement can purchase goods and services based on the framework agreement or procurement system established, without having to organize their own procurement.
Thanks to the large volumes, centralized and joint procurement makes it possible to obtain price discounts that are not available for smaller quantities.
